Welcome from our new President

We’ve bid farewell to 2023, a year of turmoil and chaos in many parts of the world and closer to home, many of us have lost someone significant.

Dumfriesshire Federation was shocked and saddened by the sudden death of our Secretary Elaine who will be greatly missed by many. Val Hillen has very kindly stepped into the breach on a temporary basis but we are really looking for someone willing to ease into the Secretary’s role. I understand that this may seem daunting but I assure you that help and support is on hand and we would be delighted to hear from anyone who might be interested in taking up this post or who wants more information about it.

As we welcome in 2024, I wish you health and happiness and hope for the future.
