When Covid came an' a 'that,It changed our lives, us Rural wives. You had to cope with a' that! But cope you did and gallantly. You led us through a' that. Embracing the technology. We learned to Zoom and a' that. An' a' that, an' a' that,We talked on screen an' a' that,An' a' that, an' a' that. It was surreal, that lockdown deal, But still you smiled through a' that!
And when normality resumed,We got let loose an' a' that. Lots of cake to be consumed Wi' relief we'd come through a' that! An' a' that, an' a' that,
You were in demand across the land An' spread your wings o'er a' that!
Our Federation's hundred years -A great milestone an' a' that, Reflection and some heartfelt cheers To celebrate an' a that. An' a' that, an' a' that. We history made an' a' that. It was sublime, centenary time. You shone and smiled through a' that!
So after these tumultuous years,When you've given your all an' a' that, Respect you've gained from all your peers Cause you've done grand wi' a' that. An' a' that, an' a' that,Wi' your trademark smile an' a' that, You've done us proud, we'll cheer out loud. To thank you now for a' that!
